TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
HURRICANE HARVEY DISASTER RECOVERY PROGRAM
The Town of Fulton will submit a CDBG-DR application for $4,759,465 for drainage system improvements in the western area of Fulton related to Hurricane Harvey declared disaster events to the General Land Office (GLO) CDBG-DR Hurricane Harvey Disaster Recovery Program. Applications will be available for review on and after July 15, 2019, at the City Hall at 201 N. 7th Street, Fulton Texas, 78358, during regular business hours for at least thirty days.

La ciudad de Fulton presentará una solicitud CDBG-DR por $4,759,465 para actividades elegibles de mejorameintos a lot sistemas de drenaje en el área occidental de Fulton relacionadas con eventos de desastre declarados del Huracán Harvey a la Oficina General de Tierras (GLO) CDBG-DR Programa de Recuperación de Desastres del Huracán Harvey. Las solicitudes estarán disponibles para revisión después del dia Julio 15, 2019 en el Palacio Municipal localizado en 201 N. 7th Street, Fulton, Texas, 78358, durante el horario normal de oficina por un periodo mínimo de treinta dias.

With great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie “Googles” Cole

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie “Googles” Cole. Mr. Cole was a past Mayor for many years and most recently an Alderman for the Town of Fulton. He was recently awarded with a well-deserved Hometown Hero award.

Mr. Cole was the original founder of the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department in 1948 and is also the founder of Fulton Oysterfest.

Mr. Cole, thank you for your dedicated commitment to the Fulton community that you loved so much; it will not be the same without you! We will miss you greatly.

We ask you please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
