KaBOOM! partnered with Us

Play is critical to help children heal following a disaster or crisis, as they deal with the stress of lost homes, lost loved ones, lost routine and lost normalcy. KaBOOM!, alongside our partners, responds when there are natural or man-made disasters that have an impact on kids.

With the partnership and support of the Rebuild Texas Fund, we are working side-by-side to bring play to kids impacted by Hurricane Harvey and provide them a safe, fun environment to build resiliency and cope with the stress often associated with natural disasters. Our partnership will bring 57 playgrounds or creative play products to communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.

KaBOOM! partners with communities, corporations and foundations, like Rebuild Texas Fund, to help rebuild — or create — places for kids to play. Through the leadership of communities and the hard work of volunteers, we’ve built or restored over 260 playgrounds and deployed 65 creative play products, such as Imagination Playground and Rigamajig.

These efforts have engaged over 55,000 volunteers and brought play back to nearly 400,0000 kids throughout Texas. Visit https://kaboom.org/disaster_crisis_re… to learn more about our efforts to help rebuild communities affected by disasters and crisis.
